This short dogleg right can play even shorter by cutting the corner. A drive of 270 yards would clear the left corner of the fairway bunker and would run down the slope to a level lie within 100 yards of the green. The fairway is twice as wide past the fairway bunker, which makes it a low risk play. Be careful not to miss your drive left or you will run out of room at 280 yards on a line at the left edge of the fairway bunker. The putting green is well guarded by two bunkers and it is necessary to stay below the pin with your approach shot or a possible three putt is likely. |
